Meet the team

Gavan is a second generation painter who started Proud Painters in 1992 with his wife Helen. Gavan is a very kind and generous man with a meticulous attention to detail who is a true master of his craft. Gavan and Helen have three sons. The family often spends their weekends at the lake waterskiing. In 2019 their eldest son Joel won the Waterski World Championships.

Gavin is a Queensland thoroughbred with a dry sense of humour capable of disrupting the status quo at any moment. He is an exceptionally skilful painter who has been working alongside Gavan Howley for over 10 years.

Vince is a genuine pleasure to be around. His positivity is infectious and the team is very lucky to have found him. Vince has been with Proud Painters for over 10 years and is capable of producing incredibly high quality work at break neck speeds most mere mortals could only dream of.
